El Café La Habana
Address: Plaza de Santa Catalina
Sited on the square of Plaza Santa Catalina, as the name would suggest this is a Cuban bar, and one of the newest in Conil. During the day it is a quiet and pleasant cafe and bar. At night it transforms into the bar of the moment, serving beers and cocktails such as mojitos and daquiris. There’s also an internet cafe here.
La Tertulia
Address: C/ Gabino Aranda
La Tertulia (traditionally, the meeting place of a literary circle) makes a refreshing change; it is far from the ordinary bar. The owners have transformed a traditional Spanish house into a bar. You can eat or drink outside, on the patio, among flowers and plants, or relax in one of the numerous indoor rooms. There’s also a billiard table for those who bring their own cues.
La Luna
Address: C/ Peñón
One of the major nightspots in Conil. A fairly large and largely open air discotheque, spread around an old-fashioned neighbourhood patio, surrounded by flowers and plants. As befits a major nightspot anywhere in Spain, it tends to get busy only around 1am, and stays open until 4am (la madrugada, small hours, in Spanish). The upstairs dancefloor tends to fill quickly, almost to the point where you can’t move!! Everyone knows La Luna; you won’t have any problems finding it.
La Cochera
Address: c/ Ancha
This is also one of the legendary Conil nightspots. It’s worthwhile finding a table or space outside, on the decorated terrace, and outside is the best place to be during the summer in Conil.
