Opportunities for concertgoing in Conil are, unfortunately, not very varied. However, for aficionados of flamenco there are a number of venues where you can see live flamenco performed in the traditional manner.

A recently created flamenco ‘tablao’, tableaux, or performance, right in the heart of the birthplace of flamenco ‘cante’, ‘song’.

Since 2000 numerous great flamenco artists have passed through its doors: Santiago Donday, El Torta, Mariana Cornejo, Juan Silva, Macarena de Jerez… the Cuadro Flamenco LA CAVA presentation comprises performers including Juan Silva, Juan Ramon Ortega, Niño de la terremoto, Patricia Aparicio and Asuncion Armario.
