A window on the wide Atlantic, this area of the Cádiz region began to develop rapidly as a tourism destination in the 21st century.

The variety of the Cádiz coastline includes vast stretches of unspoilt sandy beach and several coves and inlets where local people and visitors alike make the most of verdant countryside and, a surprise on this Atlantic shore, almost year-round sun. This combination of coast, abundant greenery and vast pine forests stretching to the seashore makes this immensely attractive region possibly the major tourist destination along the entire Costa de a Luz.

With easy access and good connections with the ports of Cádiz and Algeciras, as well as the airports at Jerez, Seville and Gibraltar.
