A cooperative is a loose grouping of trade and craft specialists whose members, producers, sellers and consumers, benefit from their common interest in the quality and price of the cooperative's product (olive oil being a prime Andalucían example).
Cooperatives are an excellent place to shop for the best goods at the best prices, as the makers normally offer better prices than in ordinary individual stores.
